Staccato Xc Problems - If that's exactly what you're looking for, I'd say it's worth it. I have had the ability to shoot in my area without strangers and both Staccatos seem to prefer using ammo so I can shoot a group which can take a long time to get better. I definitely like this range of pistols

I cannot comment on the XC experience. I have seen Tony Piñato say that the XL shoots better than the XC. I can say that having CCC I don't think it shot better than my 2018 DS Tactical. I still think the 2017-2019 STIs were the best STI/Staccato offering, even though the current lineup is still impressive.

There is a good video on Youtube comparing DVC-P and Battle Master with a slow motion comparison. The gradual decline that came along with you clearly shows that the DVC-P is a great weapon. It's worth noting that rebound sensitivity will vary greatly between a heavier board and a shorter computer board, and that's a matter of personal preference. Personally, I prefer the computer, but in reality the amount of progress is small and you are playing a game of "how flat does my sniper rifle shoot".
I will also add that cartridges can play a role in comparison. I have found that the computer really likes 124 grain 9mm ammo with 140 horsepower where you can fire a very light 115 grain XL and negate the difference.
I tried to answer this question myself. I was hoping they would only release the XC steel scope instead of the finished optical version. I love the new Staccatos line, except for the DUO system.

I have no doubt that Staccato will never build one. However, DUO is not a bad system and does little to help CHPWS.

I bought the XC as my first Staccato. Not in 1st 2011 I had a DVC pickup and sold it to buy a WC EDCx9. Looking at XC, I was intrigued by all the online videos of guys shooting two-second Bill Drills and I started dreaming, "That could be me!" Then the guy showed up at a local game with one and I grabbed him. I liked the weight and the look, so I dived in. You just can't complain about the way they sit and feel, I love them so much! But then my friend got a Staccato P and I loved it, then I went and bought a C2 and a few weeks ago a 2019 P 4.1. I would start with C2 then P and work my way down to XC. XC-ga for me is really a game, although very good, fun to play on weekends but not for everyday use. C2 is my carry and I compete with him .sds grab) so it is convenient to use as my main weapon when I go to races and multi-day activities. XC can fill that role as well, but it feels different for a game or class.
This is a very verbose way of saying that if you have XC money just sitting there, go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it at all. But maybe think a little about what you'll be using it for and what else you can get for the money.

Overall, I'd say it's worth the money, especially after Cheely shut down and got excited. The polymer grip and trigger feel cheap for other weapons at this price point.
